I am a licensed architect of Taiwan with

exceptional interest over transport infrastructure,

integrating the space articulation and wayfinding

through my design methodology and novel media.

My undergraduate thesis project is an underground metro interchange, demonstrating the power of TOD in a city

I was the project manager of a metro station(Taoyuan Metro G32 Station) design from 2018-2022 at Kai Architects, Taiwan

I led the project from schematic design stage to detailed design stage, the station is under construction since 2020

Meanwhile I was the coordinator for the signage design(Taoyuan Metro GC01 Tender) between 7 stations and 4 architects

It was a great opportunity to understand how practical signage was planned and executed, as well as the relation with the space

Over the years I have been conducting my own research work of station analysis and mapping

The goal is that, by disecting the current station space and their architectural design methodology,

along with the real-world operation and wayfinding solution, I gain knowledge of how to design a better station

The research also equipped myself with a vast and rigorous database fo referencing

Practical signage is another research subject of mine

By inspecting the signage from all the transportation systems of different countries around the world,

One can have a clear view on how the cultural, social, environmental, or even political context affects the wayfinding design
